1996 Vauxhall / Opel Vectra Super Touring Car

Built for the 1996 British Touring Car Championship by RML and then rebuilt in the winter of 1996 by 888, this car was one of the works BTCC Vauxhall Vectra B cars during the 1996 and 1997 seasons. Complete with Swindon built engine and Xtrac 6 speed sequential gearbox this car is a great entry for the Super Touring Car Series in the UK.

An opportunity to buy one of the Works built Super Touring Cars from the last golden age of Touring Car Racing – ex Thompson, Cleland and Warwick history in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) – the most competitive and best series worldwide – iconic, memorable and from a time when live TV and crowds of 30,000 watched the best touring car racing in the world.
