This this is the first 1995 Ford Motorsport “hatchback” Mondeo Super Touring car and has the lastest specification. Built by Andy Rouse Engeering.

Technically the car boasts some quite incredible components. The engine is a 2-litre 6 cylinder Cosworth developing 300bhp mated to a X-Trac 206 six-speed sequential gearbox. The ECU is Zytec/Stack Display and the roll bars can be adjusted internally, AP brakes front and rear, Air jack system and much more. The cost to build these cars was around £580.000.

Car History:

– 1995 BTCC – British Touring Car Championship – Charlie Cox (used in the second part of season after the crash with his “saloon” Mondeo)

– 1996 / 1997 STCC – Swedish Touring Car Championship – Elisabeth Nilsson (Flash Engineering)

– no races since 1998, only a few gentle track days after full rolling chassis rebuild with full chassis paint job and lots of new parts.

The car is in a very nice original condition, never crashed, fully professionally checked with a new service and ready to race.

Engine is brand new rebuild with new block/pistons/valves, etc. (engine nr 006) only used one track day (1 hour)

Very easy to drive and certainly one of the better value cars to own in respect of running costs.

Included is a good spare parts package (12 wheels, uprights, wishbones, hubs, exhaust parts, 3 sets of springs, 25 sets of gears, dogrings, gearbox parts, wheel nuts, generator, spark plugs, belts, engine parts, 6 drive shafts, joints, and lots of other small parts

A rare chance to own one of only a few original Super Touring cars and an excellent investment.

Perfect for HSCC Super Touring Car Championship class 2 (1993-1995 Super Touring cars)
